UV light is the main cause of skin damage caused by the sun, but High Energy Visible Light (HEVIS) can also induce free radicals that cause additional stress to the skin. Sunlight triggers an increase in melanin production which can lead to hyperpigmentation problems such as sun-related brown spots.
Eucerin SUN PIGMENT CONTROL Fluid SPF 50+ is a daily facial sun protection for all skin types that helps prevent sun-induced hyperpigmentation. Advanced Spectral Technology combines photostable** broad spectrum UVA/UVB filters for extra high UV protection with Licochalcone A to neutralise free radicals caused by UV and HEVIS light. Important tips for use
Apply generously before sun exposure and reapply frequently, especially after swimming, toweling off or sweating, to maintain optimal protection.
Applying too little sunscreen reduces its protective effect.
Do not stay in the sun too long, even if you have applied sunscreen.
Avoid exposure during the hottest hours and prolonged sun exposure, as even high SPF sunscreens do not provide 100% protection.
Keep babies and young children out of direct sunlight.
Avoid contact with the eyes.
