Lalique's inspiration for the L'Insoumis bottle was the "Tourbillons" motif, which was first used in 1926 on the legendary "Tourbillons" vase. It is a stylized fern that unfolds in spirals on the bottle. The fern represents a constantly renewing nature and was repeatedly reinterpreted by RenÉ Lalique in his creations. Although the motif was created almost a century ago, it has not lost its modernity as a graphic element to this day. The opulence of the “tourbillon” motif that adorns the sides of the bottle contrasts with the simplicity of the lines.
