Ylang-ylang is shown here “life-size”, as it lives and blooms on the island of Moheli in the Comoros archipelago: sunny, with its yellow petals, nestled in the heart of lush vegetation. We've never smelled it like this, green, spicy, barely woody, without languor or opulence.
