THE CREATION
Created in 2006 by Jean-Claude Ellena, the Terre d'Hermès Eau de Toilette connects the man with his origins and the source of his creativity. The scent tells of the relationship between man and the earth, of his dialogue with nature. Since 2016, Christine Nagel, perfumer at Hermès, has been exploring new facets of this line.

THE FRAGRANCE NOTES
The Terre d'Hermès Eau de Toilette is a composition with mineral and woody accents. It combines the power and effervescence of cedar and grapefruit with the vibrant aroma of flint.

THE OBJECT
The bottom of the bottle is embossed with an orange H, symbolizing anchoring in the earth. The metal bottle shoulders emphasize the transparency of the water.

THE HERMÈS DETAIL
The bottle of the Terre d'Hermès Eau de Toilette reveals numerous details: the “Clou de Selle” saddle nail, the sliding cap that releases the spray head, etc. It was designed by Philippe Mouquet and is modeled on the bottle of a travel kit found in the Émile -Hermès Museum is kept.
