In 1993, Village Candle was born on a small stove with two pots. The Maine-based company, whose passion for New England craftsmanship has remained intact to this day, is now a global fragrance system producing high-quality, low-smoke candles with rich, unforgettable scents. The carefully crafted, hand-cut candles light up homes and hearts around the world.
Application tip:
Remove the lid from the candle and light it in a fireproof place.
When lighting for the first time, it's important to allow enough time for the surface to liquefy completely.
Always make sure the wick is short enough to prevent soot forming (A wick length of around 0.5 to 1 cm is recommended).
Tips:
- Please ensure that you always leave the candle glass lit until a lake of wax has formed on the surface. Only when the surface is completely liquefied will the candle burn cleanly.
- The glass of the scented candle can become very hot during use. Please do not touch the candle glass again until the candle has cooled completely, otherwise there is a risk of burns.
- Always handle a glass candle with the utmost care. Glass is fragile and should not be handled with sharp objects, etc.
- Please use a fireproof base to avoid possible fire damage caused by heat development.
- Keep out of reach of pets and children
- Never leave lit candles unattended, in draughts or near curtains.
- IMPORTANT: the candle must be permanently extinguished if there is less than 5 mm of wax in the glass. Otherwise there is a risk of overheating and shattering of the glass!
Tips
- To extinguish the candle, dip the wick briefly in the wax and then straighten it out. This way, the wick remains flexible and doesn't come loose.
- Remove soot flowers from the wick before lighting
- Use the empty, rinsed candle jar as a storage jar
